Day 9 – Nutritional Ketosis

PM Ketones: 2.0
AM Blood Glucose: 87
PM Blood Glucose: 80
Hours of Sleep:
Energy Level: Good
Physical Activity: BJJ

Happy with my ketone levels and blood sugars.  Curious to see what my HbA1c will be with these sub 90 sugars.  I read somewhere that optimally blood sugars should be in the 80 range.  I’ll try to find that source again.

Had a Cold Stone creamery  ice cream today, the smallest size, because we were celebrating some good news, and I wasn’t sure what effect that would have to my ketones.  I’m guessing since I’m keto-adapted it may afford me some wiggle room.

One of the ideas the book I’ve been reading about details is that while the ideal range for carb intake is less than 50 gm to maintain ketosis, some people can eat up to 100 gm without any problem.

I was planning on typing up some articles regarding the basics of ketosis and ketoadaptation but I haven’t had as much time as I initially anticipated.

The scale I found today was actually a digital scale, so I could only measure it to the nearest pound.  Looks like I’m still hovering in the 190 mark.

I forgot to turn on my sleep tracker app so I didn’t record my total time sleeping.
