It’s been a little over a year since I first started this blog and I feel like I’ve come quite a long way.
While I can’t say that I’ve reached the body composition goals that I set for myself, I can say that I’ve definitely learned a lot.
I intend to continue with more self experiments in 2014. I know that some of these experiments will work and some will fail and some will simply be inconclusive. That’s just the nature of experimentation, but through the whole process, you just try to come out with more information than you had going in.
Thank you for visiting this site and I hope we can continue to learn together.
I’d like to close with a New Years Benediction from one of my favorite authors:
“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”
– Neil Gaiman
Thanks for the inspirational new years message and your research and sharing over the past year.
