18th consecutive day of nutritional ketosis. My guess last night wasn’t too far off. Today was another beautiful Hawaiian day and we spent a lot of it outside. Something tells me Mark Sisson would be proud since I’m typically a desk jockey who rarely gets enough vitamin D. I am now at least 1 or 2 shades darker than when I first arrived.
Had a good amount of bone broth today with a lot of broccoli and spinach thrown in. I don’t think I’ve been having enough vegetables so I made the conscious effort of adding extra. Came across this blog where one of her main goals for the year is to “eat a crap ton of green veggies.” I think this is a good thing to strive for, and I did pretty well in this regard at least today. My carb count was higher than normal because I indulged in some Hawaiian shaved ice.
Since the last time I surfed was also the last time I had some Hawaiian shaved ice, and my ketones on the following morning were 1.1 mmol… so that’s what I’ll guess they are tomorrow: 1.1 mmol.
