Yes, that is another plate of Chinese food. This time we asked them to hold all corn starch which they were willing to do, so hopefully everything I ate was ok. Another update into the saga of my blueberry mousse… was that I discovered that it also shouldn’t be eaten alone. The first and thing I ate this morning was a slice of the mousse and about 45 minutes, the GI issues ensued again. Lessons learned: No more than 1 slice at a time; Must be eaten with other things. Talk about n=1.
I ate more carbs than I normally like, but I’m not sure how accurate this is since I just estimated based on online information what the Chinese food nutrition information was.
One thing I observed today was that I was starting to feel the satiety thing, where I just eat a little and I’m not hungry for a long time. I’m wondering if this is a turning point where my body is finally getting adapted or if it is temporary.
My ketone guestimate was pretty off last yesterday, and given the fact that Chinese food was involved, I’d estimate that my measurements would take a bit of a hit…. so I’ll say tomorrow I’ll see a ketone level of 0.5 mmol, on the edge of nutritional ketosis.
